Some things are not meant to cross the threshold with me.

Written as I stood at the edge of a new beginning. Today, I am lightening my hands and my heart. Affirmation: “I don’t carry what doesn’t help me grow.”

Letting go makes room for what matters.

What I’m No Longer Carrying Into This Month is more than a list — it’s a conscious choice. Every month carries a weight. Some of it is love. Some of it is habit. And some of it is just the residue of things I no longer need. I’ve learned that if I don’t pause to notice what I’m holding, I end up carrying it by default. This month, I am setting things down — intentionally, gently, without guilt.

Recognizing What I’m No Longer Carrying Into This Month

Awareness comes before release.

This month, I’m leaving behind the need to rush, the conversations that go in circles, the pressure to explain my boundaries, and the old doubts that whisper I’m not enough. These things have been heavy on my back for far too long. I’m not angry at them — they were part of my journey — but they are not part of my next chapter.

“Releasing is not rejection — it’s choosing space for what nourishes me.”

The Gentle Ritual of Releasing What I’m No Longer Carrying

Letting go is also an act of love.

At the start of every month, I take a page in my journal and draw a line down the middle. On the left, I write what feels heavy. On the right, I write what I’m choosing to release. Sometimes I burn the page, sometimes I just close the notebook — but every time, I feel lighter. It’s not about erasing the past. It’s about stepping forward without dragging it behind me.
